Law 4: Silence is information, not a puzzle to solve

Most women treat a man's silence like a riddle. They reread the last chat. They ask friends. They draft paragraphs. They assume the worst, then the best, then the worst again, all before he has said a single new word.

Here is the law: his silence already answered you. Not always "he does not like you." Sometimes "you are not the priority right now." Sometimes "he is testing if you will chase." Sometimes "he has checked out." But it is almost never "he needs you to solve it for him with more effort."

What silence usually means in the male mind

Men rarely go quiet because they are overwhelmed with deep feelings they cannot express. More often: low urgency, low investment, or comfort that you will still be there when he returns.

If you fill every gap with jokes, check ins, and soft openers, you train him that silence costs him nothing. The male mind learns fast: she holds the thread.

What to do instead (the short version)

Match energy. Do not punish. Do not perform. Let the gap stay a gap long enough that his next move has to be real: a plan, a clear tone, an actual question. If he only resurfaces with "hey," you already have data.
